ABOUT ETI-INYENE AKPAN
ETI-INYENE GODWIN AKPAN, popularly known as SIR Inyene is a photographer with a special interest in documentary photography.
He has been commissioned for projects by both individual and cooperate organisations like Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (Youth Development Centre), Akwaaba African Travel Market, Coca-Cola, African Hub International, Social Prefect Tours, The DARE Experience, TVP Adventures, and many others.
He is presently serving as the official Documentary Photographer and Media Associate (photography) for the Social Good Lagos, an international NGO that addresses issues on zero hunger, to climate action, sustainable tourism, peace & justice for all, and the the sustainable development goals. It is closely monitored by the United Nations Foundation. He is also the Convener of Photo Waka, a Street Photography event.
As a Visual Storyteller, he creates photographs that are not just attractive to the human eyes alone. His pictures are consistent in evoking feelings and connecting with whoever sees it; thereby inspiring positive change. To him, photography is the story of life with a frame. It is less about what we see than how we see it. It is his channel of expression.
